The Velmead Community Centre

An existing community hall requiring additional storage, wc facilities and a performance stage with associated storage and systems. A new external play area was added with refurbishment and redecoration to other areas of the building including an extended and refitted kitchen.

Existing external features were repeated to provide an attractive integrated design for the new and old construction.

Very high standards of finish with low maintenance paint treatments and coverings were specified for all the new and existing elevations.

The new performance stage was built to exacting standards with specialist floor treatments for sound and resilience. Under stage storage with separate access doors was also provided.
