Bisley Property Company Ltd carries out all aspects of construction from site clearance to final decoration. We generally tender for projects within the £50,000 - £1,000,000 price range, either direct to the client or via there nominated Architect.

A full range of construction services are offered, including residential and commercial projects, development work and maintenance contracts.

Our company has an enviable reputation for quality workmanship, excellent project management and controlled working within occupied environments.

Considerable experience over the years has shown that a good working relationship with the client and professional team, from the estimating stage to project completion, will reduce or remove the cost burden of site-based problems such as access, ground conditions and design changes.

We also have excellent contacts with a number of highly respected architects, designers and engineers and can offer advice and consultation on any proposed project at design stage and or as the work proceeds.

The company has its own team of operatives and tradesmen that carry out all aspects of the contract.
All our site staff live locally and we pride ourselves on having a friendly and conscientious approach to our work. Good supervision, communication and problem solving is key to a successful project delivered on time and within budget.

The Managing Director of BPC, Steven Chinery, has an honours degree in Building Construction and Management and spent many years working on major multi-million pound contracts before starting his own construction business some 24 years ago.

Affiliations

National Federation of Builders

We are a long standing member of the NFB. Our membership requires us to demonstrate a required standard of competence and that the appropriate insurances are maintained. We are also required to adhere to a strict code of conduct in regards to our relationship with our clients.

National House Building Council (NHBC)

As a registered builder we have been inspected, tested and attained the standard required to build an NHBC protected property. The benefit to our client is the award of ‘Buildmark’ - a 10 year warranty and insurance policy.

Federation of Small Businesses (FSB)

The FSB has over 215,000 members and as such provides a very strong lobbying body on a wide range of issues affecting an independently owned family business like BPC. We greatly value their support and advice.

Health and Safety

The demands of the modern construction environment requires close adherence to industry standards. The BPC management rigorously enforces the company health and safety policy and is committed to operative and tradesman training through the Construction Industry Training Board scheme.

History

BPC Ltd previously operated under the trading name of Latham Builders Ltd, which was established  in 1985 and bore the family name of the highly respected and popular Lathams DIY store situated in the centre of Knaphill village. Based on this experience, the building side started on small extension and refurbishment works. The company has now grown significantly and to date has undertaken over 1000 small medium and large construction projects within the Woking and Guildford area.
